Dr Abul Hassan Syed has been practising as a General Practitioner in Australia since 2005, following earlier hospital work after moving to Australia in 2000. With experience in general practice, paediatrics, and obstetrics, he offers compassionate, comprehensive care to patients across all age groups.
Dr Syed has a special interest in chronic disease management, including diabetes, as well as children’s and women’s health. He is skilled in skin cancer checks, minor procedures, Implanon insertion/removal, and work-related medicals.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and travelling to places rich in history and natural beauty.

Dr Shaikh Wahab graduated from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1991 and has gained valuable experience working as a GP for more than 20 years. Dr Wahab enjoys all aspects of family medicine and has a particular interest in mental health. When not at work, he enjoys travelling.

Dr. Isuru Ravinatha Ariyasingha migrated to Australia in 2023, with his wife and adorable son to start his career in Australia. He is an experienced medical practitioner with over 10 years of clinical experience across general practice, emergency medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, urology, and ENT. He worked at Westmead Hospital, North Canberra Hospital and The Canberra hospital, before joining the Franklin General Practice.
He has the passion for medicine and enjoys all aspects of family medicine, with special interest in women’s health, men’s health, minor surgical procedures, acute care medicine and chronic disease management. He is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and continuity of care for individuals and families. He is fluent in English and Sinhala, making him accessible to a diverse patient population. He values ongoing professional development and is passionate about advancing his skills to better serve his community.
Outside of his work he enjoys watching movies, playing guitar and traveling with his family.
Kereng graduated from the University of South Australia (Adelaide) in 2006. She has since worked across different areas of physiotherapy.
She enjoys meeting new people and discovering new places.
Since moving to Canberra, she enjoys walking around “the lake”
